Following intensive classical training at an Italian Conservatoire, I dedicated my career to elite musicology and performance—earning a Bachelor's, a Master's, and a Doctorate (PhD) in Music from the University of Surrey. As a concert pianist, my performances have spanned across Europe and into China.
For the past 12 years, I have served—and continue to serve—directly as an ABRSM Music Theory Examiner, evaluating thousands of candidate papers worldwide. Alongside my active role as a Head of Piano in the UK, I run Theory Virtuoso to give students an absolute, examiner-level standard of online education.

A LITTLE ABOUT ME
I was born in Italy, where I studied piano at the Conservatoire of Teramo and read Music at the University of Rome. In the UK, I completed a PhD research in Music and continued working as a pianist and teacher. My experience as an ABRSM Theory examiner is giving me the opportunity to understand how students learn and how I can help them appreciate their music theory learning in a fun and effective way.
